February Workshop

Hopscotch Workshop on the Go

~  February 28  ~  7pm  ~

Hopscotch is a fun, bright new collection from Seasonal Expressions.  I enjoyed using Hopscotch - it is extremely versatile and easy to create with. 

I used the WOTG Kit (G1091, $29.95) and the layout included. I also used MIFYH Vol 2 #10 to make another layout, and the single layout on page 18 of Seasonal Expressions.  I did need some additional Glacier cardstock.

My computer is not allowing me up upload pix at this point but you can see the WOTG layout, and page 18 in the current Seasonal Expressions catalogue, and other Hopscotch layouts, inc Vol 2 #10, at Makeitfromyourheart.com, under artwork or December (2nd).

I am so looking forward to Fall, I have had enough of this heat!  I love the this season, the misty mornings, the cool evenings, visiting the apple/pumpkin farms, Thanksgiving, pumpkin soup, pumpkin pie, you get my drift. 

 

I had fun playing with the new Pathfinding paper pack and accessories and reliving some family memories while creating these layouts.  I decided not to use the WOTG Kit and opted for the Pathfinding paper pack, complements, assortment and the Thankful Heart stamp set.  (Sorry about the photo quality, is a little weird this month)

Skylark Workshop Kit

Do you just love the beautiful spring colours of the Skylark paper pack.  I do and was looking forward to creating with this lovely collection.  I am not much of a pink person and love blues and greens, which is why I love this packet so much.  This paper collection really allows for any theme.  Here's what I have done so far.

Huntingon Workshop

October Workshop

I made three layouts from this paper packet and still have some left overs that I plan on using for a Halloween layout.  It didn't want the stamp set, but the extra cardstock in the kit (1 goldrush and 2 gypsy) may be handy for some.  I did have to add extra cardstock, mostly colonial white as bases.

 

 

Layout 1.  This layout requires no stamping, and was inspired by extra artwork found on Jeanette Lyntons blog (jeanettelynton.com) for the new idea book.  I added colonial white and gypsy cardstock.

Surf's Up Workshop

I really like the WOTG Surf's Up Kit.  The colours are fun, fresh and so summery.  I made three layouts from a day trip to Bolsa Chica State Beach last summer.  My girls had such a fun time and this paper pack has captured it perfectly.

I didn't make the featured layout as I had to many pictures.  Top layout is the kits additional artwork - Magic: Mesmerize.  Middle layout - Imagine: Conclusion Combo.  Bottom layout - Cherish: Golden Section.

Finally I have made it back to my blog.  Now that school is out and my youngest has recovered from her emergency appendicitis surgery (wow, what a week) I can get back to my scrapbooking, creating and to keeping my blog updated.    Some of the following posts I should have posted a few weeks ago, but I will share anyway cause its all about sharing ideas, right!
