July Workshop

For Always Paper Pack

The For Always paper pack has a classic black and white look with its six B&T Duos papers.  You can add any colour to make stunning artwork.  (This pack comes with Ruby, Slate, Honey and Lagoon cardstock.)  

This month I decided to try something other than layouts for our monthly workshop after seeing the beautiful Artiste File-box & cards Gayle Gross made with this paper pack.  I was inspired to make my own.  They are super quick to make and would make a great gift or just add to your own stash of cards.

June Workshop

Surf's Up Workshop 

~  Saturday 22nd  ~  7pm  ~

I really like the WOTG Surf's Up Kit.  The colours are fun, fresh and so summery.  I made three layouts from a day trip to Bolsa Chica State Beach last summer.  My girls had such a fun time and this paper pack has captured it perfectly.

I didn't make the featured layout as I had to many pictures.  Top layout is the kits additional artwork - Magic: Mesmerize.  Middle layout - Imagine: Conclusion Combo.  Bottom layout - Cherish: Golden Section.

BONUS PROJECT

The Bonus Project in this Kit are party favours.  The two on the right I switched stamp to Perfect Fit - Birthday, and the one on the left I used the April SOTM - Sunshine.  If you follow the sample in the Kit, it uses Glitter Paper, which I don't have, and you will need more sparkles to make all 20 favours.

Finally I have made it back to my blog.  Now that school is out and my youngest has recovered from her emergency appendicitis surgery (wow, what a week) I can get back to my scrapbooking, creating and to keeping my blog updated.    Some of the following posts I should have posted a few weeks ago, but I will share anyway cause its all about sharing ideas, right!

This is a layout I started in April but was waiting for some accessories to finish.  It's my take on the layout on the back cover of CTMH's current Idea Book and Catalog.

April Workshop

Chantilly Cardmaking Kit

~  Saturday 20  ~  7pm  ~

The WOTG Chantilly Cardmaking Kit is bright and cheery and so fun to make.  There are all the supplies you need to make 15 cards, five each of three cards.  G1061, $29.95*.  

These are the three cards as shown in the kit, except for the Sunset ink, which I didn't care for so I switched it to Cotton Candy ink

I changed it up a bit for the rest

For these three, I flipped the B&T over to the floral and added some Buttercup cardstock to the top card, and added Lagoon cardstock to border floral B&T on left card

 Here I switched the ink colours from the originals to create a different look

For these three I rotated the design which was fun to play with

And for the last three, I used the Perfect Fit - Birthday stamp set (B1417, $9.95*)

The options for this fun and versitile card kit really are limitless

BUZZ AND BUMBLE WORKSHOP

This was a fun little project to make.  Just add one or more of CTMH's new My Creations Kraft Containers and some natural hemp to your order.  These Kraft containers are a great size at 5.75" x 3" and are a sturdy, stampable chipboard.  Everything else comes in the WOTG Kit.
